Apparently the economy here is even worse than back home at Scranton. How is that even possible? Don't ask me. And it means the job market here suuuuuuuhhhcks. I've been looking since like, eight o'clock this morning. Nada.

I just wouldn't make a good poor person. The closest brush with poverty the Bernard family's had in the past century was devastating enough -- my great-grandfather's factory was sued over something pretty hush-hush, took every dime he had. But then his stocks went up and he never did trust banks, so we were back in business soon enough. They call it the ol' Bernard Bounce Back.

[ He pauses on that note, then turns the recorder off. ]

5 PM

[ Clicks on. Andy sounds exasperated. ]

This is really bumming me out. I think I'm going to treat myself to a huge dinner and a movie to take my mind off these money problems.

[ Clicks it off again. ]

9:21 PM

[ Turns on. He sounds a little out of breath. ]

Oh yeah, so it's been really, really hot today. The movie theatres were totally packed, but I saw that Swan movie. It was all right and Natalie Portman is a total babe but it made totally no sense half the time... plus it was really hard to concentrate because I was sweating so much.

At least now that I'm back I can chillax. I feel way better now that I took all my clothes off.
